Urban Outfitters considers a size 38 B bust size to be a ‘Large’.
I recently bought a pair of shorts for “working out” at the Gap - on a gift certificate from work. Since I have a perpetual fear of florescent lighting and salespeople, I didn’t try them on until I got home. They were a little big. According to the sizing chart on Urban Outfitters, I classify as a large, in swimsuit, pant or fitted shirt. But these shorts I bought were a medium, and I am pretty much swimming in them.
This is why I try not to ever buy anything new. Sizes are bullshit and most clothes marketed to women my age is over priced cotton pap sized for Thai boys and that cute redhead who is probably going to be on the cover of the next Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Not that I am at all into that sort of thing.
In conclusion - THRIFT IT OUT.
